The world’s deadliest waves

Surfing is a great source of fun! There are many places on the planet that are just perfect for surfers. Those places you should visit. On the other side, there are some places that you should avoid! This is a list of those places! Unless you are super-pro surfer, or adrenaline freak, avoid them!

1. Banzai Pipeline is located on the North Shore of Oahu. It is the world’s most deadly wave in the world! Powerful lefts and rights, break off the beach, over a coral reef! This place is responsible for taking lives more than all other surfing spots in the world, combined! Some of the people who lost their lives here are: Malik Joyeux, a Tahitian pro surfer (December 2005), Japanese pro surfer Moto Watanabe (January 2004), Joshua Nakata a local bodybuilder, Puerto Rican surfer Joaquin Velilla (January 2007) and many others! Despite this place being the most dangerous in the world, it is still highly visited by surfers!

2. Ghost Trees is located off the coast of Pebble Beach in Northern California. This place has the serious shark issues! If we add huge boulders that line the shore, we have one of the places you should avoid!

3. Half Moon Bay in Northern California also has issues with sharks. With White Great sharks more precisely! In 1994 it took a life of legendary Hawaiian big-wave surfer, Mark Foo. The air is freezing and wing is howling! If you this isn’t enough, don’t forget huge white sharks below the surface! Maybe this place looks nice, but it would be wise to pass it and go to some place other!
